Sarah's sweetheart dance!

Sarah went to Alta High School's Sweetheart Mascarade Dance! Kelly came over and did her hair before in an updo. Her date had recent medical problems and was in a wheelchair part of the time but did get to dance! She had a lot of fun with all of her friends!

Visiting Kelly

caaaaaaaaaaake.....
I went to visit two days after Kelly moved in. It took me two hours to get there. I arrived a half hour early and couldn't find the right front door. So, Kelly had to come out in her robe and towel no less and gave me a warm welcome! I couldn't believe that she wasn't living out of boxes because everything was set up so nice! Kaylee and Brylee have their own playroom, bathroom, and bedroom that they can wander around and be all gated off. They have a large office, which is nicely done and very neatly organized, a large master bedroom and bath. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and table by the TV, so they can relaxingly watch TV while they sit at the table and talk to each other at the same time. Their is a park across the street, the side walks go around to make an exersize course. We went out to Cafe Rio to eat, came home and put Brylee and Kaylee in a stroller and played at the park. Kaylee met a new friend. At first the little girl asked Kaylee,
"Can I be your friend?"
Kaylee responded back with, "Mommy is my friend."
Kelly said, "It's okay, you can have another friend!"
We played at the park and had fun. They loved the park so much that I had to leave as they were still playing.

So after the California trip to see Alana's baptism was called off, Corinne took me(Sarah) and her 2 boys to Las Vegas. We found a ton of things to do like: The Tournament of Kings(which was so much fun to cheer and see cute boys ride on horses LOL) we walked the strip and saw the cool fountain show, and played arcade games and won 2 sharks:) The next day we went to the Adventure Dome at Circus Circus where we rode lots of rides and I managed to get lost for 2 hours! we saw the great view and. had 2 VERY YUMMY meals at the buffet at our hotel(the Excalibur) Sunday we went to an aquarium, Hoover Dam, the Rainforest Cafe, and a tribute to the Beegees concert. I found out that it is a GREAT place to teach life/moral lessons and Taylor and Alex are a lot of fun to teach them to:) and to the trip just could not be complete without Krispy Kreame doughnuts top it all off! yay!

power out! ahh!!

so we wanted to go to California to see Alana Oakman's baptism but the weather decided otherwise. roads were closed and it would've been way too horrific to go and the night we found out it was all called off we were all bummed out and grumpy when the power goes off from a HUGE snowstorm. LOL just our luck! we all laughed at the irony and wondered what was going to happen next. Luckily Dad has his handy pug lights around the entire house and we used a camping stove to bake Mom's casserole. the lights turned on an hour later :)
