December Fun

 Decorating Grandma and Grandpa's Tree.  The boys loved it and I don't think anyone had anticipated how much garland you can stick on one tree.  It actually looked pretty good I think!

We celebrated Holly's 25th birthday on Sunday!  We were so glad for good weather, we've had to cancel in the past so it was nice to have a party for her.

Is Sarah Taller than she was pre-surgery?  I think so.  But still not taller than me!  Sorry, I couldn't rotate it!

Magic!

Holly and the boys always have sooooo much fun together!  My boys are totally into Magic tricks right now, at least they are fascinated by them.  Holly prepared a bunch of fun magic tricks for the boys!

A Visit with Sarah

Well,  a new post is well overdue and we've had an eventful week so I thought I would put something up here.  I hope Sarah doesn't mind me updating everyone - I'm sure she will be more up for posting something herself in a few days. 
I went to Primary Children's with the boys today to see Sarah.  Taylor and Alex had drawn pictures and we brought tape and taped them up to her wall so she could see them and taped up the cards friends had gotten her.  She is sore today and a little drowsy but seemed to be doing good.  I think yesterday was a much more painful day.  Brian and Mom were there.  (Brian got a job today- so congratulations to him!!) 
I should have taken a picture to post- sorry about that.  Anyhow, she really appreciates phone calls and cards and pictures- she says it is a really good distraction from the discomfort.
Sarah - you are a trooper!  Sorry about this all- it isn't fun.  You have always shown such love for everyone and have really been there for everyone else.  We love you lots!!!!! 

Grandma Ruth and Auntie Karen's Birthday

We had a fun time celebrating Grandma's 86th and Karen's 60th Birthday!

We were even able to go to Applebee's for a birthday lunch- good food is always fun!

Dad's 60th Birthday!

We had a fun birthday party for Dad. Grandma Adams, Auntie Karen, Uncle Don, Uncle Dave and Holly were all able to be there.

Dad asked for a lemon cake this year, it was actually really yummy if I do say so myself!
